Bill Yoh

A lifelong writer and award-winning author, Bill has published business and literary articles and blogs, and produced an award-winning feature film about human relationships. Our Way, his first book, received a Gold Award from the Nonfiction Writers Association. He is preparing to publish a second book about a mission trip to Nicaragua and how the experience crystallized what matters most in life.

Bill also serves as a speaker, biographer and strategist, helping other family business owners navigate the opportunities and challenges that inevitably arise when personal and professional lives intersect. He previously worked in the management consulting industry and currently also advises multiple startup ventures.

Balancing his passions for business, family and faith, Bill chairs Yoh, Day & Zimmermann's multinational recruiting business, and is the past chair of The Haverford School, one of the largest independent schools in the United States. His business accomplishments have included managing a $350 million P&L and launching multiple enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. He sits on the advisory boards of Select Greater Philadelphia, Military Veteran Partners, Quake Media, and Unbounded Media. He has also chaired the American Staffing Association, which supports the $150 billion US staffing industry, and served on the boards of Council for Relationships, Defense Support Services, and Platoon Fitness.

Bill holds a BA from Duke and an MBA from Wharton and is pursuing a Master’s degree in ministry and theology at Villanova. He teaches a family business class at Wharton. He enjoys playing guitar, songwriting, cooking, and fishing. He and his family live outside Philadelphia.
